12th March 2020 - Mellow in the Meadow returns for 2020!
30th October 2019 - Donation of £5,000 to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity
When we visited the airbase in June to present the cheque for £1,000, raised at the inaugural 2018 Mellow in the Meadow, we were hugely enthused by the great work of the GWAAC and this inspired us to, rather ambitiously, aim to double our donation from the 2019 event.
Our small committee worked tirelessly throughout the summer to secure sponsors, book acts, attractions and caterers, source power, lights, sound and staging and got creative to keep costs down.
When the big day dawned we enjoyed live music, delicious food, Kid’s Zone, Glitter Hut and well-stocked bars, all of which were visited by Charlie the Critical Care Bear!
The success of the event would not have been possible without the amazing team of volunteers who assisted, not only on the day, but in days before and the dreaded clear up (hampered by some sore heads).
We are elated to say that dedication, time and energy paid off and we are delighted to be able to present GWAAC with a donation of £5,000.
We would like to thank the wonderful GWAAC team for their support for our event and for all of the fantastic work they do. It has been an absolute pleasure to raise money for the cause and we are exceptionally proud of our achievements.

We joined in the Farmers Guardian "24 Hours in Farming" which is the agricultural industry’s biggest online event, highlighting the pride of the nation’s food producers and encourages farmers to show the general public a typical working day through the power of social media.
We donned our yellow wellies to raise awareness of one of our fantastic chosen charities the Farm Safety Foundation, and posed for a shot in a very smelly stubble field where they were busy spreading manure!
